Frequently Asked Questions
When should my student start SAT prep?
Most students benefit from beginning preparation 3-6 months before their intended test date. High-performing students often choose to start earlier.
Our summer seminar is ideal for students taking the August SAT, while private tutoring can begin at any time.
What's the difference between the summer seminar and private tutoring?
The summer seminar is a structured 7-week group program with set curriculum and schedule. Private tutoring is completely customized to your student's needs and schedule, with one-on-one instruction.
Do you offer PSAT preparation?
Yes. Our SAT curriculum applies directly to the PSAT, as both tests share the same format and content. The summer seminar prepares students for both the August SAT and fall PSAT.
Can students attend virtually?
Yes. All sessions of our summer seminar offer a virtual attendance option, and private tutoring is available via Zoom.
What if my student misses a session?
Our summer seminar includes two built-in makeup sessions on Saturdays. Students who miss the practice test can complete it at home and submit results for diagnostic review.
What materials do students need?
All materials are provided, including practice tests, problem sets, and diagnostic spreadsheets. Students should bring pencils, a calculator, and a willingness to work hard.
